"Well Done FRANCES and congratulations to the winner Mr. Nick Arculus"

Voters will take to the polls in the by-election for the ward on December 10th. Four polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm. Councillors are usually elected for four years, but because this is a by-election looking for a replacement official the winning candidate will only hold the position for five months before another election is called halfway through next year.

Councillor Burton was elected in May 2006 meaning the winning candidate from the upcoming election will serve the remainder of his term until May 2010. Anyone hoping to be added to the electoral register for West Ward or applying to vote by post must send their request to the city council's electoral registration officer. The deadline for this request is 5pm on November 25th. Application forms are available from the electoral services team at the Town Hall on 01733 452249.

"NIGEL CARTER SAYS THE CONSERVATIVES ARE FINISHED"

Let's face it, the Conservatives are finished. It may take a while for everybody to realise it but

David Cameron's admission that his promise to hold an EU referendum was false

has left huge swathes of Tory voters with nobody to vote for. Except UKIP, if UKIP can get its act together in time for the General Election. UKIP policy groups
are meeting as you read this preparing policy in a host of areas so that UKIP can be taken seriously as a potential government in the coming election. UKIP has been
incredibly successful in recent years because it has tapped into the heartfelt beliefs of the solid core of British society. And where it's been truly credible, in the EU elections
last summer, millions of voters gave their vote. When a voter lends you their vote it is given in trust that the party will do what it says it will do. But lately voters have
been deliberately seduced into voting for pretend manifestos and then defrauded and left holding the baby. Cameron's crew are trying to do the same thing as Blair, sound
nice, promise what people want, get into power and do something else instead.

Trouble is, for Cameron, he's been found out BEFORE he got into power. Most tories are passionately patriotic and are dismayed by the betrayal to the EU over the
last thirty years, and the political assassinations of Margaret Thatcher and Ian Duncan-Smith because of their resistance to surrender to the Eurocrats and their masters
the German and French governments.

So what's left for the Conservatives to vote for, an out-an-out EU party, with young, inexperienced, too-clever-by-half leadership who change their emphasis
with each opinion poll. Voters in the Shires are beyond dismayed, beyond livid. They're bitterly determined to put things right.

Similiar feelings are bubbling up among former Labour party supporters. They are beyond angry about MP's expenses, the bankers, unemployment, and the threat to
their families of disorder and violence on the streets. UKIP has an opportunity to appeal to the sensible, down-to-earth, EU sceptic former Labour voter who's had
enough of the lies and failure. They want to know, what about MY FAMILY, who's going to help keep US safe, healthy and working with a prosperousd future. Can
anyone believe what's on the label of the Labour tin anymore ? They talk a good talk sometimes, but ... and the Tory label keeps changing, but it's still the same tin,
with added EU Gravy ! Does anybody know what the LibDems policy is this week, apart from a constant and passionate love for the EU which they always try to distract
us from. Just like the greens.

Of the five main non-racist, anti-sectarian, democratic parties for voters to choose from at the next election, four are fully pro-EU running our country, taking over our
Courts and Police, our Forces and our government. Only one is in favour of running our own affairs, friendly to all countries, trading in a wide-world, fair to all and
caring for those who need it; and that's the UK Independence Party.

The EU parties tried to take away your EU referendum because they didn't like your opinions. Don't let them get away with it ! Make the next election YOUR referendum by
showing the EU parties how you feel about the way they tried to bulldoze your country into history and settle on UKIP. They'll be trying very hard to earn your trust.

The plan is to help Nigel Farage MEP on
Saturday 26th of September
to deliver in the excess of 45,000 of his election leaflets
door to door, something that has never been done before ...
which in and of itself will be news worthy and record breaking.

Nigel will be challenging the Speaker of the House,
John Bercow for his seat in Buckingham.

UKIP Independence Party
Office of Nigel Farage MEP
Member for South East England

Dear Fellow UKIP Members,

You are now aware of Nigel's intention to run as the PPC against John Bercow,
Speaker of the House of Commons,
 in Buckingham.

All donations should be made out to UKIP Aylesbury Vale and sent to:
Mr. G. McCormack, 66 Mandeville Road, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP21 8AG.

We are aware of all the hard work everyone will be putting in with regards to your own constituency,
but ask you to go that extra mile and help in Buckingham.

It would be hugely appreciated. This could be our best chance yet to elect an MP.

Just to let you all know ...
Saturday went well.

Six of us travelled to Buckingham on Saturday morning to help Nigel Farage with his General Election Campaign to
stand as the prospective parliamentary candidate against the Speaker of the House, John Bercow.
Two of the six travelled by coach, Hunts & Cambs PPC Jenny O'Dell and
Huntingdon North District Council By-Election Candidate Peter Ashcroft.
The other four included myself, Denis Crawford - Branch Secretary for SW Norfolk
and to none members who later in the day choose to become UKIP members,
Mandy Vincent & Marjorie Williams both from Godmanchester.

Between the six of us we managed to deliver 4,000 leaflets in Buckingham, Winslow & Waddesdon which
Nigel was well pleased with.
In addition to this another 99 UKIP members from all around the country came to help & support
this huge challenge delivering another 32,000 bringing the grand total of 36,000 leaflets
delivered door to door in just one day. A fantastic result.

Nigel was interviewed by BBC South TV and the Film crew & the reporter stayed with us throughout the entire day.
Just goes to show, what just a handful of people can do when they set
their minds to this great challenge that is before them.

OUR BRANCH HAS PLANS TO WIND DOWN THIS WEBSITE

1st OF OCTOBER

To be run by one of our NW Cambs Members: James Finnie

One of the main reasons for this is to free up my time to concentrate on my Election Campaign and the other important
reasons include giving it a more professional look and making it more readable,  not only that it will introduce
more members to get more involved and help me share the workload which has become all to much for
my old computer which is so last century ... so over these next couple of weeks I will slowly transfer
and delete everything on this website by the 7th of October, leaving only the new website address on view.

The United Kingdom Independence Party realises that trying to reform the EU from
within does not work. That is the reason we advocate withdrawal from the European Union,
whilst retaining our trade links with them. This will enable us to re-instate trade with all
those countries in the world with whom we have such close ties. We should like to see
our country reassert her moral and inventive place in the world,
which is being increasingly stifled by the inhibiting influence of Brussels.

So Nigel Farage is stepping down from being the Party Leader as announced by him at the Conference Friday afternoon.
His reason for doing so is to give someone else the opportunity of leading the Party as we head towards the General Election.
He also said that he had become so busy with all that he does for the Party and now wants to step aside and look for the new challenge of
being elected as an MP to the House of Commons in Westminster.

I was saddened to hear that he was going to step down from the Leadership, but I do understand why ... it's a huge job and demands so much from you.
It is not an easy job by any means. Now comes the difficult job of finding a new Leader that can take our Party forward into the next General Election.
GOLD MEDAL WINNERS FROM THE EAST WENT TO:

JOHN YOULES from Norwich Branch

MIKE ILETT from The Orkney's

and little JASMINE REEVE from NW Cambs Branch.

(By the way, little Jasmine raised over £2,000 at the Conference and was our little *Star.*)

"DO YOU VALUE YOUR COUNTRY ?
THEN YOUR LOCAL NW CAMBS BRANCH NEEDS YOUR HELP TO PUT BACK THE
GREAT into BRITAIN. "

This branch of ours will need the help of every branch member to fight a successful Election Campaign in the next
General Election & the Local District Council Elections.
We will need Candidates for every seat to cover all the wards that will be up for election in both the
Huntingdonshire District Council and the Peterborough City Council areas.
In addition to this we will need Leaflet Distributors, Board Erectors, Coordinators, Hand Written Envelopes and
Volunteers to man a Market Stall & Public Meetings that we will hold leading up to the Elections.
We will also need to raise the Funds that will be necessary to fund this campaign starting now.,
so if you have any ideas or can spare a few pounds then please e~mail me at:

(Above is the actual size of this Badge)

Support the Police wearing the Union Flag Badge that backs British Troops.

Armed police patrolling Heathrow Airport have been banned from wearing tiny Union Jack badges in support of British Troops.
Top brass claimed the tie-pin badges - which cost £1 with proceeds going to the 'Help for Heroes' charity - were offensive.

But one officer asked: "How can the Union Jack be offensive ... ?

"This ruling is even more absurd coming this weekend on the 65th anniversary of the D-Day Landings.
We must be the only country ashamed to display our national flag."

About 100 officers in the Metropolitan force's SO18 Aviation Branch, which patrols Heathrow, bought the inch-square badges.
I think personally ours must be the only Police Force that does not wear its national flag. Surely this must end,
they are the finest and they should have the Union Jack flag on their uniform as standard.
Failing this at least allow them to wear the Union Jack flag voluntarily as
these officers did, especially as it is for a noble and just cause.

I am the Police Officer at Heathrow Airport who started wearing the Union flag on my body armour to support our troops,
one of which is my son.
I saw your home page and just wanted to Thank You for your support, maybe the question should be,
Why aren't we wearing the flag on our uniform ... not why are we.  Thanks again, Mark.

PS. You may be interested to know that I sold 300 Union Flag Badges and have now been inundated with requests for them
from Police Officers across the South of the country. Hopefully I can make a difference and we can show that

UK contribution to EU set for massive increase

Reforms to the EU budget will make Britain the second biggest contributor, pushing up household contributions by 60 % per cent,
reports the Daily Mail. Britain is to lose part of its rebate package, first negotiated by Margaret Thatcher in the 1980's,
which compensated for the country's relatively small farming sector, says the newspaper.

THE BRITISH CONSTITUTION GROUP

This group is asking for help to take our truly Great Britian back to where it belongs, to the safe hands of ordinary men
and women who love and cherish our country, so it will cherish and protect our children and grandchildren through all
the generations. The Constitution Group say they have irrefutable documentary evidence of treason committed
by people at the
highest levels of government.

They have offical government papers released under the 30-year rule, all bearing central registry and public records
office stamps. Most are on headed paper and many signed by people whose names are well known.

A prominent QC has perused these documents and his initial assessment is that they make a formidable case which merits
serious consideration and investigation for treason. The Group needs to raise £10,000 for a full legal opinion.
They have already raised £1,150.
Please help them to reach their target.

' PETE REEVE's 1st MONTH AS YOUR COUNCILLOR '

Since Pete Reeve has become the new County & District Councillor serving the Division of Ramsey he has been in-undated
with various council meetings, phone calls and loads of E~mails which he has been answering almost night and day.
He's been that busy that even I have to book a time & day when he's available in order to catch up with him,
so if your experiencing difficulties trying to
get hold of him then please send me an e~mail or a phone call and I'll make sure he gets your
messages the next time I see him.

Pete Reeve is extremely keen to address all the local issues & concerns that you may have and wants to serve you
in getting these matters resolved which can only but enhance and benefit the local community of Ramsey.
So, if you do have anything you want Pete to look into for you, please use our 'Contact Page' and send us the details.

His first aim that he wants to achieve is to get Policemen out on foot patrols late on Friday & Saturday nights to curb
the anti-social behaviour that is causing local residents in the town centre a disturbance and difficulties in being able to
live a quiet life and not having to be woken up by this mindless minority who are making a great deal of noise, shouting &
swearing, jumping on cars and acts of voilence & vandalism as they do right into the early hours having consumed
a lot of alchol. There is a petition available to sign and add your name to if you would like to support
Pete's aim in trying to get our streets patrolled by the Police.

I'm hoping to give you a regular update on Pete's progress as your elected councillor for Ramsey by asking him
to give  me his latest report providing he has the time to do so.

ROBERT H. BROWN

"What a fantastic result ... 43% of the vote for the County Council seat went to
UKIP"
... and 39% of the vote got us the District Council seat.

How was this done you may well ask ... ?

I became a UKIP member five years ago almost to the day ... six months later I stood in my first
General Election and succeed in saving my deposit with 5% of the vote. I then stood in a
District Council By-Election in Warboys & Bury finishing 3rd beating Labour and pushing them into 4th behind us.
Next came the District Council Election for Upwood & The Raveleys, this time doubling my vote coming 3rd
just behind the Lib-Dems who took 2nd by just a few votes. Next Election was another District Council seat where
I stood as a candidate in Yaxley & Farcet ... once again almost doubled my vote and finished 2nd. Then this year in
the County Council Election I stood in Warboys & Upwood Division increasing my vote and getting a lot closer to the
winner a Conservative with 30% of the vote. Next time who knows, I may win in the District Council Election for
Upwood & The Raveleys in May 2010. I shall also be standing as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate
for UKIP in NW Cambs.

My campaign starts today on the back of our historic win that we won, "PETE REEVE winning both County & District
seats on the council.

So how on earth did we do it ... ?

I was introduced to UKIP by Joan Thompson back in 2004. Joan was delivering leaflets and she took the time to knock on
my door. After she introduced herself we soon got into a conversation about politics and Joan told me about the EU and how
it was effecting our way of life and more importantly how it was controlling our own government, then afterward s she informed
me that there was a local UKIP Branch meeting in Huntingdon later that evening and I was invited by Joan and offered a
lift which I accepted ... Later on whilst at the meeting, I met Julian Fairweather (who later became my Parliamentary agent)
and Derek Norman who was the Chairman of the Hunts & Cambs Branch ... I made the decision to join as a member that very
night based on what I had heard from these three individuals ... The rest as we say, was now history.

So what has happened since to raise the profile so quickly and have such dramatic results in such a
short time were only the Conservatives ever won with the Lib-Dems nibbling at their feet ... everyone
said it could not be done and they mocked us at the beginning in our efforts to rise to the top.
Un-dettered, we kept at it ... I started by finding a local project to get involved with which was
being overlooked by everyone else. Being on state benefits it had to be something that wouldn't cost
me a small fortune in doing it. This is where my supplier came into it ... Tesco's ... They had a
special offer on costing just £ 9.99 ... this is all I needed to start my local project ... to re-open a disused,
overgrown, and hidden away ... a public footpath a mile in length unused by anyone which connected two villages
 'Bury & Upwood'.

With this new project in mind I started my attempt to re-open this long forgotten footpath. There were days
when I was only able to clear a yard or two and other days when I could clear up to 20 yards or so.
Over the next five months I continued every day until I had completely re-opened this footpath.
Am pleased to say that hundreds & hundreds of people now walk on it every week, even into thousands
certain times of the year. I continue to maintain this footpath by cutting the grass on both sides of
it which adds up to 8 miles of grass cutting I do every single week throughout the season from
late March to early November. People often stop and chat to me, usually giving me loads of praise,
compliments, gifts and a few coins which help fund this great project.

Locally, I have become to be known as "Hymn with Spade" and every year the 'Ramsey 1940's Weekend' host a great annual
event on the old RAF Upwood airfield which is visited by thousands & thousands of people. This year the event is on
August 22nd & 23rd and the money that is raised they divide and give all the proceeds to National and Local Charities and as
a beneficiary, they send me a cheque at Christmas to me for keeping the footpath & entrance looking in pristine condition
leading up to the 'Ramsey 1940's Weekend'

As a result, all this voluntary work I do in my neighbourhood has raised the profile with my slogan 'Leading by Example'.
This gives me the prefect platform to meet people and talk about what really matters to them, listening carefully and taking
immediate action by addressing their local concerns and issues. They always feel relaxed & comfortable whenever they choose
to stop and talk to me and they know that I will always try my best to answer truthfully and as quickly as possible. The majority
also are aware that I am not a well man facing lots of health issues daily but still trying my utmost to please.

Also ... the way we have managed to achieve this historic win is by leafletting the area. On this occasion we managed to leaflet
the entire Ramsey Division seven times. A different leaflet every 5 days was delivered door to door by our UKIP members who
helped and gave of their time. A special Thank You goes to Peter Ashcroft, Shirley Reeve,Lisa & Callum Duffy who worked on it
nearly every day without fail. I tried my best even though I was in a lot of pain most of the time. Other members that deserve a
mention include Denis Crawford,Frances Fox,  Jonathan Arnott, Andrew Smith, Ian Curtis, Keith Pilkington,
Stuart Agnew MEP and Ray Mindham.

The other important item was the cortex boards that the local Ramsey people choose to have us erect them in their front gardens.
I'm pleased to inform you that we had more cortex boards than the Labour Party had in votes. And their were hundreds who
freely displayed the A.4 leaflet  'Vote Pete Reeve' Posters in their front room windows. Pete has also been pro-active on several
local issues and committees.

THIS IS HOW TO WIN COUNCIL SEATS.

So for you to win in your next election, find a local project on your own doorstep that costs very little if anything, that improves
the area you live in and serve. This will raise your profile. You need to meet people and talk to them, listen carefully to their
concerns and issues, then get busy with helping them. And remember to give out top quality leaflets, door to door delivery is a must.
The secret is is a little information and as often and as many times as possible ... then all being well you will be onto a winner sooner
or later ... just keep working at it, and day by day as you draw closer to that win ... remember, it's not about you, it's about the
people of this nation. Let's put the GREAT back into Great Britain.

I've added a few photo's late tonight ... all of the now famous 'Bury & Upwood Footpath'.

... and finally this is what Derek Norman wrote in the 'Eurosceptic about my footpath ...

They say that the Conservatives and the UK Independence Party were the main winners in the 2009 European Elections in the
Eastern Counties. Just click on to this BBC TV link and see what was the coverage they gave us celebrating at the St. Ivo centre.

It was indeed a fantastic result for our lead candidate the deputy leader "Mr. David Campbell Bannerman" and also for our
Norfolk chicken farmer "Mr. Stuart Agnew". In the Eastern Counties UKIP got over 313,000 votes which is an increase of over
20,000 votes from the Euro Elections of 2004. We also did very well in the County Council Elections with Gary Shaw getting
the highest number of votes coming a good second overall with 1,135 people in his division voting for him and UKIP. I was next up
with 803 votes coming 2nd in the 'Warboys & Upwood' Division, then it was Dilys Marvin earning an second place who stood as
the candidate in Sawtry & Ellington with 621 votes no less ... and finally Micheal Horwood came 3rd with another 475 votes ...
produced a total of 3,034 votes in these four divisions.

Back to our Patch in NW CAMBS.

Since Christmas, the NW Cambs Branch has managed to help deliver 130,000 leaflets door to door which is a huge achievement by
so few of us ... To this end I say, 'Well Done ! What a Great Big Effort by those of you who have helped us to do this...

Please help us in promoting this website, finding ways to increase our membership. We are getting ready to launch our
General Election Campaign.

As your Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for NW Cambs, I would like to ask you what really matters to you, and what
would you want me to concentrate on and do for you if I was elected to Westminster as your MP. Also if you have a local concern
that you would like me to get involved in, then please use our contact page and send me the details. You can also use the contact
page to send me your questions asking me where I stand on certain issues. The idea behind this is to lay out my stall so to speak by
posting my position on these matters on this website for all to see ... that way everyone can see at a glance what I believe in and will
fight for if elected to public office. So whether or not you agree or disagree, at least you will have all the important information to
help you decide whether or not I'm the right person to Vote for. I will create 3 separate headings which will be:

I agree & am in favour

* Saving the NHS and re-instating Matrons on each Ward
* De-centralising Government and restoring local democracy
* Saving our Post Office's
* Reducing Council Tax Bill's and increasing Old Age Pensions
* Policemen on Foot Patrols especially on Friday & Saturday Nights
* For the Electorate to be able to sack their MP who fails to serve as promised
* For prisoners to serve their time with NO early release's
... and for the prisoner that has the means to pay should be billed ...
instead of the innocent taxpayer having to foot the Bill
* Those that hold public office should be transparent & Accountable to the British taxpayer

I disagree & am not in favour

Fighting other Nation's Wars ... YES to defending ... No to Attacking other Nations

Un-decided & neither agree or disagree

Climate change/Gobal Warming

Question: " If at the next General Election I was elected to represent NW Cambs ... What would you want me to do
and what would you expect from me ? What are the most important issues you would like me to address for you ?

NOW FOR MORE NEWS TO GET YOU STIRRED UP

As from the beginning of this week the Government will be monitoring your e~mails and on-line phone calls.

Internet users' emails and on line phone calls will be stored for the government to overlook, beginning today (Mon. 6th April 2009).
The changes come in an EU directive requiring all internet services providers (ISP's) to keep the data for 12 months.
The directive already applied to telecoms providers but has now been expanded to ISP's.

The content of the communications will not be retained, but companies will be forced to keep a log
of the date, time, duration and recipients on all online communications.

The Home Office will cover the costs. ( Yes ! With our money)

Civil libertarians are outraged that the change came into force without a debate in Parliament, having been brought in by statutory implement.
Some opponents argue the Home Office is now lobbying Europe directly for these changes so as to avoid politically explosive debates back home

(That's our Lib/Lab/Con Government for you.)

Now did you know that some of our Town Hall workers are on £100,000 + per year ... ?

Yes, It's true, over a thousand Town Hall workers are claiming salaries of over £100,000, new research has revealed.

The Town Hall Rich List 2009, published today by the TaxPayer's Alliance shows 1,022 people are on more than £100,000 - up 27 per cent on last year.
Over 115 of them are earning over £150,000. The organisation said at least 16 people earn more than the Prime Minister,
who takes home a salary of £194,250, including his MP's salary.

"The size of council executives' pay and perks is staggering, and every year the cost continues to rise," said Maria Fort, Policy Analyst at the TaxPayers' Alliance,
"The fact that executives who have overseen increases in council tax, cuts in service and major policy failures are getting ever more generously rewarded
is frustrating for taxpayers who are struggling to make ends meet.

Now for the best bit ... as for the other council workers they are to be offered a 0.5% pay rise (These are the ones that do the real work)

Council staff will be offered a 0.5% pay rise this year, the Local Government Association has said.

Sir Steve Bullock, who chairs the LGA pay panel, said the settlement had to be both affordable and ensure people would want to work in local government.
(Now that is a bit rich ...)

Unions said they were "bitterly disappointed" at the deal for England, Wales & Northern Ireland. (So I would be.)
The announcement comes shortly after it emerged more than 1,000 council bosses earn more than £100,000 p.a.

Tough Times ... The Retail Price index, often the inflation measure used to calculate pay deals, is currently 0%. Mp's are getting 2.33% pay rise for 2009-10
while senior Whitehall and NHS staff will get 1.5%.Last year's pay deal for staff including social workers, refuse collectors, teaching assistants and librarians,
was increased from 2.45% to 2.75% after it was challenged by the unions.

Sir Steve Bullock said the "tough economic times", low inflation rate and pressure on public sector spending and council services means employers
had to make "some tough decisions on pay". (Yeah ! right ... more for the Bosses and a lot less for the real workers)
"Councils, like everyone else, have tightened their belts to weather the recession and the extra money awarded by the arbitrators in last year's pay settlement
means that councils have had to tighten their belts further." (So why can't the council bosses do likewise, who really needs £100,000 a year to live on).

Well if that doesn't get you stirred up ... what will ?
More next week ... please send us your news to NW Cambs at; nwcambsukip@hotmail.co.uk

Our Branch Treasurer is the 20-year-old MEP candidate: for UKIP is "unique"
Posted March 17th, 2009 by Micheal Heaver

Amy O'Boyle, UKIP MEP candidate for the Eastern region, recently explained just why she believes in the party she is standing for in June's European Elections.

"UKIP is often over-looked by young people, until they realise exactly what UKIP stands for", insists Amy O'Boyle who brings youth to a very talented Eastern
region list that includes several party stalwarts including Deputy Leader David Campbell-Bannerman and Stuart Agnew.

Insisting that UKIP is a party that invigorates debate based on principle, Amy went on to say that "Everyone who joins gets a real chance to influence and get
involved with the party, which is pretty unique".

As well as the issue of the European Union, Amy cited some of UKIP's domestic policies as attractive prospects to young people. "UKIP proposes policy
changes which will enable young people get the best start in life: the availability of a grammer school in every town: free university education; and introducing
a simple Flat Tax to help those just starting out".

"But more than that", Amy explained, "UKIP proposes a country which we can run ourselves. Surely the most promising objective any party can have is preserving
our country for the next generation ?"

Amy will be fighting hard for the party in the Eastern Region where UKIP managed to get 2 MEP's elected back in 2004.

"STUART AGNEW"  MEP
GIVE'S AN EXCELLENT TALK
ON THE EU FACTS.

"A revealation of how democracy in Britian has been steadily eroded in the name of a pan-European political system. His talk looked at each Treaty briefly
then selected a couple of these to show us how they relate to the changes that have been noticed here. In particular, comparing the systems of law making in
Westminster and Brussels side by side showing us examples of how democracy is being evaded in the EU.One good example of this is the effect of the EU
on local government is clearly explained by Stuart as he talks you though the process of Regionalisation

This is an excellent way of educating the voters in your area. It will help them to understand the current state of affairs on
the system of government that now controls them.

Stuart uses a flip chart and delivers his talk in a lively interesting manner which is about 50 minutes in lenght.
He is well worth listening to, I highly recommend you invite him to your next meeting.

Stuart Agnew and Stephen Scott-Fawcett get a mention in the Cambridgeshire News. Please see link below.

OUR MEETING WENT WELL ... ON SATURDAY

Our first meeting of the day was at 'Kings Dyke' Whittlesey at the Wind Turbine's with David Campbell-Bannerman the Deputy Leader of UKIP who is our lead candidate for the Eastern Counties in the European Parliamentary Elections met up with local residents and Mr. Tyson Clarke a local businessman. A newspaper reporter & photographer were there to record the event. Later in the day Professor Stephen Bush spoke at length on the subject pointing out how little energy wind turbines produce and only when there was enough wind.
To view the film footage go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=es5zfCVZZTE
                          and               http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8v5qyM

It then moved on to the second meeting of the day with Nigel Farage the Party Chairman meeting and speaking directly to the shoppers in Peterborough in Cathedral Square. BBC 'Look East' local news were there to film the gathering which went very well indeed, so much so that it over ran getting back to the 'Manor farm community centre. Still, it was most encouraging to find the younger generation wanting to ask questions and agreeing with what we had to say, especially on Wind Turbines, Immigration, the credit crunch and the loss of jobs for local people.

In the 3 weeks leading up to this event a small team of helpers helped deliver 20,000 leaflets & DVD's to approximately half of Peterborough
and 16 villages in & around Peterborough.

Thanks for visiting our website !

The U.K. Independence Party ~ NW Cambs Branch is focused on getting our country back under British Control once more - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. We hope you find everything on this website helpful and useful in letting you know the true, the whole truth to what our current West minister Politicians and Government are doing behind your backs.

The truth is that they are busy giving away control of your country to an un-elected body of EU Politicians in Brussels who are taking away our right to govern ourselves and being ordered to obey their illegal regulations and directives...

If you do not want to be taken hostage by these EU pirates, then you need to stand up and take control and fight back by helping us achieve this by voting against the LibLabCon parties that our selling us out, telling us one thing, yet behind our backs completely the opposite, in order to line their own pockets. Our own elected Government is not to be trusted with their promises and so called concerns for you and me. All they are truly interested in is themselves.

The Government has given away 80% of the work we the voters employed them to do to the European Parliament in Brussels who now dictate to us leaving only 20% for British Government to have any impute on in our West minister House of Parliament. So why have they given themselves such large pay increases, when surely their pay packets should be 80% lighter due to the fact they only have a fifth of the responsibility they once had pre-1972.
