UKIP Spring Conference in Scarborough, March 4-5
Fight, Fight and Fight Again: 3 new campaigns to be launched at UKIP Spring Conference in Scarborough, March 4-5

LORD MONCKTON TO UNVEIL MAJOR NEW POLICY INITIATIVE

Just one day after the Barnsley by-election (which is looking extremely promising for us) the UKIP Spring Conference will see three new campaigns launched for May 5, 2011.

At the spectacular Scarborough Spa – where in 1960 Hugh Gaitskell made his famous speech exhorting his members to “fight, fight and fight again to save the party we love” – we will be launching:

• Our nationwide Local Elections campaign and new Manifesto;

• Campaigns for the Scottish Parliament, the Welsh Assembly AND the Northern Ireland Assembly, which we’ll be fighting for the first time this year;

• Our (eagerly awaited) position on the AV Referendum campaign.

Plus, the Spring Conference will hear from:

Lord Monckton, Head of the new UKIP Policy Unit, with major news on policy development and the Manifesto.

Broadcaster and campaigner John Gaunt with an update on the progress of the cross-party EU Referendum Campaign.

City spokesman Steven Woolfe on the party’s new DEFEND THE CITY campaign; fisherman Richard Brewer and small businessman Peter Brown on the EU regulations destroying their livelihoods.

There will also be a Parade of Council Candidates at which some of the 1500 candidates we aim to stand in the Local Elections in May will be presented to the Party, and hear the detail of their manifesto platform.

Don’t miss this excellent event, in one of the UK’s most beautiful seaside towns, easily accessible by road and rail (only 3 hours from London).
